The Anakazi Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the economic and social empowerment of African women through entrepreneurship, mentorship, and global partnerships. By connecting African women entrepreneurs with investors, mentors, and professional networks across Africa and the United States, Anakazi helps women build sustainable businesses that create jobs and drive development.

The organization has built a dynamic platform with over 300,000 followers, engaging communities in trade, agriculture, fashion, and business development support while promoting African brands and women-led enterprises.
At the heart of Anakazi’s work is youth and women empowerment. The center runs mentorship bootcamps for young women and girls, providing practical training in entrepreneurship, leadership, and business development. It also offers technology training, career development, and job placement support, helping young people gain the skills and opportunities needed to thrive in the modern workforce. These programs are hosted at the Anakazi Center in Rhodespark, Lusaka where entrepreneurs and professionals collaborate, learn, and innovate.
Anakazi also prioritizes mental health awareness and support. The organization has collaborated with U.S.-based mental health organizations, to raise awareness and address stigma around mental health and substance use. In addition, Anakazi has previously partnered with the School of Social Work at the University of Zambia to host seminars and discussions that engage students and communities in conversations around mental well-being.
Through its expanding global networks, training programs, and partnerships, the Anakazi Center continues to build a supportive ecosystem that empowers women, nurtures young leaders, and promotes both economic opportunity and community well-being.
